The Club SciKidz Silicon Valley - Junior Scientist camp offers young learners an exciting journey through various scientific disciplines. Campers engage in hands-on experiments and activities that cover chemistry, physics, earth science, nature, and space exploration. They will have the opportunity to create Oobleck, Gak, and slime, design Super Bouncing Balls, build cosmic rockets, and explore air pressure with diving submarines. The camp emphasizes learning through discovery, encouraging children to experiment, build, test ideas, and explore real-world science. This approach fosters curiosity, builds confidence, and develops problem-solving skills in a fun and interactive environment. The curriculum is aligned with National Science Standards, ensuring a valuable educational experience.

What a typical day looks like

A typical day includes a morning greeting and science demonstration, followed by two science lessons, a snack break, lunch and recess with team-building games, and an afternoon science lesson and snack time.
